Expanding Access to Trauma-Informed Pelvic Healthcare

Care Compass Project is a nonprofit dedicated to improving health equity and safety in pelvic healthcare by providing financial assistance for trauma-informed care and supporting research that protects and advances this work.

The Problem:

Many people seeking pelvic healthcare have already been dismissed, misdiagnosed, or harmed by the medical system. This is especially true for trans and non-binary people, survivors of trauma, and women navigating complex pelvic health conditions.

For many patients, trauma-informed pelvic care is not just helpful, it is life-changing. But access to this care is often limited by cost, lack of trained providers, and disappearing research funding.

Care Compass Project exists to change that.

How You Can Help Fund Trauma-Informed Pelvic Care

Many of the people seeking trauma-informed pelvic healthcare have already spent years navigating a medical system that dismissed their pain, minimized their symptoms, or left them without answers. Cost should never be the reason someone continues to suffer without care. Your donation helps provide financial assistance for pelvic floor physical therapy visits and supports research that protects and advances trauma-informed pelvic health care for the communities that need it most.

“By the time many of our patients find us, they have already spent years being dismissed or harmed by the healthcare system. The Care Compass Project exists so that cost is not the reason someone continues to suffer.”
